In this first issue, PITA Farmhouse would like to introduce the theme - "Know Your Food". From farm to dining table, you will know more about organic farming, how to choose organic fruits and vegetables, and understand the relationship between human and food. We will first visit the Sampo Tree Organic Farm in the New Territories, get a glimpse of growing local tomatoes, and learn organic farming trivia. We also invite a guest chef to demonstrate "Five-colour Rice in Spring". What's more, a Tsukemono expert, Mrs. Wing Kishimoto, will share the knowledge and culture of Japanese pickles, find and appreciate the original taste of food.
